Frisco edition. Turns out it's sort of like really high quality Pizza Inn. Definitely not New York style or quality. The ingredients are tasty, but somehow the whole fails to live up to the sum of the parts. Not actually bad or anything, but I was expecting better. The place itself was fun, in a low-key Disney/Vegas kind of way, but having Extreme Makeover Home Edition blaring in the background didn't help.

What is it with Frisco and frozen custard? This place is in "old" Frisco, which is kinda fun. Haven't tried it yet.

These BONSP's seem mysteriously close together, but I bet they have the demographics down perfectly. Let's do a little investigating: according to the menu, the BONSP is owned by "Great American Restaurant Co., Inc.", which sounds familiar. Google time... and nothing. The Great American Restaurant Group runs a bunch of restaurants in the DC area (Sweetwater Tavern, which is like nothing ever seen in Sweetwater, TX, and I should know, I've been there) but nothing too interesting on the Great American Restaurant Company. Except for a fight with Domino's over a trademark on the concept of pizza from Brooklyn.
